With powerhouse vocals, soulful guitar playing, and a magnetic stage presence, Pam Taylor brings her own brand of blues, rock, and soul to every performance. An award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Pam has spent years captivating audiences across the United States and internationally, earning recognition for her original music, dynamic live shows, and undeniable passion for performing.
Originally from the Carolinas, Pam has recently made Southern California her home, bringing her signature sound to the vibrant Los Angeles music scene. No stranger to the West Coast, she has spent years performing in California and is now joining forces with an exceptional roster of local musicians for electrifying full-band performances. She has also become a familiar face at the popular, sold-out Ladies Sing the Blues showcases at The Mint in Los Angeles.
Pam's career has taken her to renowned stages and festivals around the world, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, Waterfront Blues Festival, Canton Blues Festival, Canal Winchester Blues Festival, and Bonita Blues Festival. She has shared stages with and opened for an impressive lineup of artists, including Tommy Castro, Eric Gales, Marcus King Band, Cowboy Mouth, and Shooter Jennings.
Her critically acclaimed album Hot Mess reached #1 on the Roots Music Report chart and #25 on the Living Blues chart, while Steal Your Heart earned a spot on Blues Rock Review's Top 20 Albums of 2017. Her accolades include Los Angeles Music Critics Awards recognition as Blues Artist of the Year, an International Songwriting Competition finalist placement for "Be the Light," and a Hollywood Music in Media Awards nomination for "The Rain Song."
Music runs deep in Pam's roots. Growing up surrounded by musicians, she was influenced by everything from gospel and traditional blues to Southern rock and soul. That rich musical upbringing helped shape a sound that is distinctly her own—gritty yet soulful, powerful yet vulnerable, and always delivered straight from the heart.
In addition to her full-band performances, Pam continues to hit the stage with longtime musical and life partner Peter Von in their dynamic Super Duo. With Peter pulling double duty on bass and drums, the two deliver the energy and sound of a much larger band in an intimate, versatile format. Their undeniable musical chemistry, infectious grooves, and playful stage banter make every performance a unique experience.
